Door Bits

Our Door Bits are used to cut the profile on the center panel of a raised-panel door, allowing it to sit flush or proud of the door frame. These specialized bits, often used in a matched set with cope and stile bits, create decorative and functional designs on cabinet doors and other woodworking projects

specialized CNC router tools designed to create decorative profiles and construction joints on wood, MDF, and other materials to make custom doors, including raised panel and mortise and tenon styles. These bits can carve specific patterns into door panels, form decorative edges, and cut the rail and stile pieces needed for a robust door frame.
  • Creating Decorative Profiles:
Raised panel bits are used to give the traditional look of a raised panel to an MDF door panel, often in combination with smaller bits to finish the design.
  • Making Joinery:
A matched set of rail and stile bits creates the precise mortise and tenon joints needed to build strong, durable doors.
  • Forming Decorative Edges:
Various edge-forming bits, such as round-over,cove, or ogee bits, can be used to add decorative and functional edges to door panels or other wood pieces.
  • Trimming Veneer and Laminate:
Flush trim bits, guided by a pilot bearing, are used to trim wood veneer or plastic laminate flush with the edge of a substrate.
Types of CNC Door Bits
